Elijah’s Story!

 

Meet 16 year-old Elijah, who was diagnosed with Quadriplegic cerebral palsy. The courageous young man is unable to walk, and he needs assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair. These daunting tasks only make him a stronger person who is determined to enjoy life.

Elijah is not unlike other boys his age. He listens to trendy music and his favorite is country all-star Luke Bryan. He is also eagerly awaiting football Sunday. He gathers with family when they wave the Terrible Towel for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Family is very important to the teenager, and in turn they are his biggest supporters. They describe him as energetic and loving. Elijah and family are the most important team in the world. The home team.
