Meet Addison!

Meet five-year-old Addison. She was diagnosed with severe scoliosis and Chiari Malformation, an illness characterized by structural deformities around the brain. The combination of disease causes a variety of challenges. She cannot walk or stand without assistance. She has endured numerous surgeries, including a procedure to implant a magnetic rod into her back. She has been through respiratory sicknesses, too. Addison has spent much of her life in and out of hospitals, but she has the courage to be an amazing girl.

Addison has a wide variety of interests to keep her busy. Her favorite show is Bubble Guppies and she loves the film Moana. Addison likes bonding with her dad over monster truck racing and football games. She listens to upbeat music and her favorite song is Baby Shark. During family outings Addison LOVES seeing the dolphin show at Sea World. The young girl is very intelligent, too; she is becoming proficient at reading and math. The best part of Addison is her spunky personality. She has a silly sense of humor, and her goal is to make everybody laugh. In a sometimes-humorless world, this determined girl is our kaleidoscopic beacon of fun.

Addison needs a wheelchair lift for the family vehicle. Please be her sponsor so she can travel in comfort and safety.
