Jose gets an Adaptive Tricycle!

 

In December, 2013 Jose received an adaptive tricycle from Wheelchairs 4 Kids! This tricycle helps Jose to enjoy of his favorite things, the outdoors. Furthermore, while enjoying rides on his new tricycle, Jose is also gaining lower extremity strength and a better range of motion.  Previously, Jose was only able to use the tricycle during therapy sessions so now both Jose and his Mom are excited to have a tricycle of their own!

Jose is an undaunted and brave four-year-old boy has Cerebral Palsy. As a result, he cannot walk and uses a wheelchair and a dynamic stander for mobility. He is a remarkable child who does not allow strife and suffering to darken his spirit. He enjoys life and having fun just like any other boy.

Jose loves the fresh air and sunshine of the outdoors.  A perfect day for the wilderness explorer is spending time on his uncle’s farm.  One of Jose’s favorite things is water and he loves when his family takes him swimming.  Jose also likes indoor activities.  He giggles and grins when he watches the cuddly-cuteness of Elmo.
