Katherine’s Story!

IMG_0056Wheelchairs 4 Kids recently helped Katherine to receive a multi-positional stander. Katherine had been using a loaner stander and had outgrown it. This new, properly fitted, device is giving her full support so she can gain the health benefits of being in a standing position.

4 year-old Katherine was diagnosed with encephalopathy, a brain disorder that has caused the little girl to lose most independent functions and abilities. Katherine also suffers from cortical blindness. Katherine, however, maintains a valiant struggle to be happy.

Katherine, as most other kids, loves a fun cartoon and loves stories with animals in them. She also looks forward to her therapy sessions. Katherine works like a tiny warrior with a big heart to stay healthy and strong!
