Aylin gets her new adaptive tricycle!

Four-year-old Aylin loves her new adaptive tricycle!  Diagnosed with microcephaly and congenital hypotonia, she is unable to walk.  Her mom, her primary caregiver, says she hopes Aylin will be able to communicate with her someday.

Despite her challenges, Aylin is always happy.  Her constant smile makes her a pleasure to be around.  She is close to her siblings, who always watch out for her.  She enjoys many activities including coloring and going to the park.

Aylin’s new tricycle will have many therapeutic benefits. It will help strengthen her legs, help with leg coordination, and help her work on her balance and trunk control.  It will also give the family the opportunity to take her to the park where she can interact with kids her age.  Hooray for Aylin!
