Presley gets her new panthera wheelchair!

Presley loves her new panthera lightweight wheelchair! The smiling 9-year-old was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy III. The illness resulted in difficulty walking, and she requires a wheelchair to be mobile. Many surgeries have followed her throughout her life. Despite the hardships, she is a positive and confident girl.

Presley has a wide array of interests. She enjoys movies and all kinds of music. Her favorite movie is Daddy’s Home and the song she listens to the most is Blank Space by Taylor Swift. She enjoys art, loves to play with Play-Doh, and spends time watching her brother race motorcycles. She is his biggest fan. The most important aspect of Presley is her attitude. She is outgoing and has a great sense of humor. She is comfortable and proud to be perfectly imperfect. That makes her perfect in every way.

Prior to receiving her new chair, Presley tried standard wheelchairs, but using them was difficult because of the low muscle tone in her arms. Presley first tried out the panthera wheelchair while on a trip in California. The chair, which is made in Canada, has changed her life!  Yay for Presley!
