Sofia’s Story

Wheelchairs 4 Kids helped Sofia to receive a new Quickie Zippie Zone wheelchair, which is improving her sitting posture and comfort. She is also more independent in the new wheelchair.

Sofia is a 7 year-old-girl who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Scoliosis. She uses a manual wheelchair for mobility and needs assistance transferring. Sofia had outgrown her current chair and needed a new light weight one!

Sofia’s loves to read and her favorite book is Princess Pink and the Land of Fake Believe! She is also a fan of the latest movie trend among girls, Disney’s Frozen. The music that really motivates her, however, is any song by the award winning performers Taylor Swift or One Direction.
