Haden’s new ramp!!

 

Wheelchairs 4 Kids was able to get Haden a ramp for his home!! The family has been carrying him and his wheelchair up 4 steps and the threshold at the entry of the home. Double Diamond Construction helped us defray some of the cost of the ramp!

 8 year-old Haden was diagnosed with several challenges, including cerebral palsy. This resulted in numerous ongoing surgeries and undeveloped cognitive ability. He also is unable to maneuver a power or manual wheelchair. Haden is described as always being happy, and he loves to spread his cheerfulness everywhere possible. The joyful boy always presents passersby with a broad smile whenever he goes for a walk. Haden loves a warm embrace, and the supply is certainly not limited. Haden is a magnet for hugs!

Haden’s family wrote to us and said “I am so thrilled that Wheelchairs 4 Kids was able to help us out. With their help, I can safely take my grandson in and out of the house without tripping, falling, or injuring ourselves. The staff has been so wonderful! Walking us thru the process, working with the contractor, and being very patient with the challenges we have faced.
