Nicole gets a roll-in shower!

March 2016-Nicole was in need of a bathroom modification for full accessibility.  Wheelchairs 4 Kids, along with 748 Development was able to do a remodel that provides her with a roll-in shower, that she can now easily get in and out of.  Her new bathroom will not only make Nicole more comfortable, but it will be a great convenience to her parents.

7 year-old Nicole was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and spastic quadriplegia at birth. The illnesses have affected her life with different trials.  For instance, she is unable to walk or stand, and she also cannot sit upright without support. Although faced with many obstacles, Nicole doesn’t let these setbacks alter her fun-loving disposition. She finds ways to smile and be joyful every day.

Nicole loves pop music, especially when it comes to Justin Bieber. If she is watching television, you can be sure that she’s tuned in to Dora the Explorer or Mickey Mouse. And just like most kids, a big scoop of ice cream makes Nicole the happiest girl in the world!

Wheelchairs 4 Kids would like to give a big “Thank You” to 748 Development for their hard work in making this project a great success!
