Wheely Fun Days is Wheelchairs 4 Kids’ inclusion program that fosters community and socialization among our WheelKids. Once a family’s request has been fulfilled through our Let’s Roll program, they are invited to join us for fun, confidence-building, extraordinary experiences, all at no cost to them and all adapted to be barrier-free for our Wheel Kids.
What started as a once- or twice-a-year treat has grown into a must-do program filled with unforgettable excursions. Our kids have gone ziplining at Gatorland, played sled hockey with the Lightning Made Hockey sled hockey program, and have even gone waterskiing with Ann’s Angels Adaptive Waterskiing! They’ve been to WWE events, Rays games, and Bucs Training Camp. In 2022 and 2023, we brought our Wheely Fun Program all the way to Colorado for adaptive downhill skiing! These outings give our kids the opportunity to do what they do best – BE KIDS!

Wheely Fun Day Wheel Kid Family Testimonials
Wheely Fun Days has created so many memories for our family! They have also given Noah and our family so many once in a lifetime memories and we will be forever grateful for Wheelchair4kids for giving Noah these opportunities! Our everyday has lots of medical appointments and needs and it’s such a breath of fresh air to be able to get away every so often and have fun in a safe, accepting environment! We love Wheelchairs 4 Kids and can never thank you all enough for what you have done for Noah and our family!
– Vanessa R. (Noah’s Mom)
Wheely Fun Days have given Delaney the opportunity to participate in activities that I would not thought were possible and also given her activities that are catered for her needs and to be around other kids like her. They have also given me (as the parent) a supportive group of parents to network with.
– Pattie D. (Delaney’s Mom)
Wheels Fun Days has given Aaron confidence in himself. It is also helping him learn that he can still participate in activities, even though he is in a wheelchair now.
– Wendy S. (Aaron’s Mom)
There are so many times where you have to tell your disabled child no, we can’t do that. Disappointment becomes common place. But Wheelchairs 4 Kids takes all of that disappointment away. They find ways that every child, no matter the disability, can have an amazing experience that they so often see other able-bodied children getting to have. This program has brought a level of joy to my child that is immeasurable!
– Frank J. (Angelina’s Dad)
This program has meant so much to us. Being invited to the Wheely Fun events has given our family the ability to participate in adventures that my son has made major life memories that we would not have been able to without your organization. Things like adaptive water skiing, adaptive zip lining, and adaptive ice sledding are things that we didn’t even realize were options for my son. Not to mention having the means to make it all happen. We have also been able to make connections with other Wheely Fun families at the events. That is something that our special needs communities desperately needs, the connections. We can’t thank you enough at Wheelchairs 4 Kids and we tell everyone we feel could benefit about you all.
