Wanted poster announcement Good

Dear Potential Felon,

Steve and Julie Weintraub invite you to participate in a fun, interactive fundraiser benefitting Wheelchairs 4 Kids, a 501 (c) (3) charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with physical disabilities.   Steve and Julie have graciously agreed to serve as the honorary chairpersons of our Jail and Bail Fundraiser to be held on April 12th at the award winning Charley’s Steak House, who has agreed to open for lunch exclusively for this event and donate food and beverages for participants.  We are truly humbled to have such wonderful supporters.

We are currently in the process of recruiting high profile Tampa Bay executives and personalities to play a role in the event.  Please accept this invitation to be part in the benefit as one of our VIP “felons”.  If you are not able to attend, we would appreciate it if you would suggest an alternate person to “do your time”.   We like snitches!

While the community at large recognizes Julie and Steve as the owners of the Gold and Diamond Source from television ads, nonprofits dedicated to creating a better Tampa Bay know them as true heroes.  They support countless charities in the area.  Julie was recently recognized with the prestigious “Spirit of Philanthropy Award” for Tampa Bay.   We are so fortunate to have this power couple with hearts of gold on our team.

The Jail and Bail will consist of us “arresting”  prominent citizens in the Tampa Bay area for various charges such as insider trading (retired NFL players using connections to get ahead in Fantasy Football) to impersonating an actor (local business owners/lawyers appearing in commercials).  The sillier the crime, the better!   Of course, your charges and bail are negotiable!  You can even split the bail with a co-conspirator!

On April 12th, you will be picked up and brought to Charley’s Steak House  (AKA The Big House) where you will be photographed, issued prison garb, and  appear before Judge Julie to answer to your charges.  You may take advantage of our court appointed attorney, Silver-tongued Steve Weintraub.   Bail will be set and you will be locked up in our jail for one hour.   I understand that the prison guards are notorious for sneaking in food and beverages!  Upon meeting your bail, you will be released with great fanfare

As a jailbird, you will receive several copies of your “Wanted” poster as well as have a page on our website with your mug shot and charges.  You may send your friends to the webpage, where they can make a secure, online donation toward your bail in advance.   We will also design custom e-mail blasts that you may send to your friends and post on social media sites such as Facebook and Linkedin.

Many children in the United States faced with living with physical disabilities are in wheelchairs that are too small, in disrepair, or do not fit the needs of the child.  In addition, families are faced with trying to care for their special needs children in homes that have not been modified to meet their specific circumstances.  Children outgrow their wheelchairs before government or insurance programs will allow for a replacement.  Not only is it unsafe for a child to be in a chair that is inadequate for their needs, but it can impact their health in numerous ways including scoliosis, respiratory problems and pressure sores.   Wheelchairs 4 Kids is working hard to address this much neglected need. You can learn more about our organization by visiting our website at www.wheelchairs4kids.org.   We also hope that you will become a fan of ourFacebook page.

Thank you so much for your consideration.  We do hope that you will consider our mission worthy of your support and our kids’ needs deserving of your participation.   If you have any questions, suggestions or comments, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 727-946-0963 or by email at sarah@wheelchairs4kids.org.  Please let us know of any other potential felons to contact!  Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Sincerely,
