Wheely Fun Days is Wheelchairs 4 Kids’ inclusion program aimed at fostering community and socialization among our wheel kids. Once a family’s request has been fulfilled, they are invited to join us for fun, confidence-building, extraordinary experiences, all at no cost to them and all adapted to be barrier-free for our wheel kids.
What started as a once- or twice-a-year treat has grown into a must-do program filled with unforgettable excursions. Our kids have gone ziplining at Gatorland, played sled hockey with the Lightning sled hockey program, and have even gone waterskiing! They’ve been to WWE events, Rays games, and Bucs Training Camp. These outings give our kids the opportunity to do what they do best – BE KIDS!
