Director of Development
Lauryn graduated from North Carolina State University with degrees in Political Science and Spanish, initially drawn to political science by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the world. That same passion ultimately led her to Wheelchairs 4 Kids, where she began as a Development Coordinator and now serves as Director of Development.
Since joining the team, Lauryn has played a vital role in advancing our mission to improve the lives of children with physical disabilities. Her background in community service, including volunteer work with Meals on Wheels, Ronald McDonald House, Safe Alliance, and the Urban Ministry Center, reflects her longstanding commitment to serving others. In her first two years with the organization, Lauryn increased her personal fundraising contributions by 250%, demonstrating not only a strong work ethic and strategic mindset but also a deep dedication to the families we support. She continues to bring creativity, compassion, and purpose to her work and is excited to take on new challenges in her expanded role.
