Meet Tavarie!
Meet 18—year-old Tavarie. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He cannot walk or stand. Tavarie remains cheerful despite these and other difficult trials.
Tavarie has several interests. He enjoys watching children’s shows. He is a fan of the Curious George books. He also spends a lot of time listening to music—it is his favorite activity. The only thing Tavarie likes doing more is being with his mom—he simply adores his mom and follows her around like a never-ending beam of sunshine. Tavarie, in fact, smiles at everything. Wherever this radiant boy goes, happiness follows!
Tavarie needs a Hoyer lift and sling for easier and safer transfers. He is adult sized, and his family cannot lift him without injury.
