Meet sweet 18-year-old Yael, a true ray of sunshine. At just two years old, Yael was diagnosed with Hurler’s Syndrome, a rare condition that has made him fully dependent on his loved ones. Though he cannot walk or communicate in traditional ways, he speaks volumes through his gentle spirit and warm presence. His family believes that nothing can brighten a gloomy day quite like one of his loving hugs.
Yael finds joy in the little things—he adores everything about Mario Brothers, his all-time favorite show. His days are filled with laughter and wonder as he watches YouTube and Discovery Kids, often with his two adorable pups by his side. Known for his peaceful and shy nature, Yael has a quiet magic about him, touching hearts and making the world a kinder place just by being in it.
Thanks to the generosity of the White Family Foundation, Yael was able to receive a portable MoLift to help with his daily care!
Right now, Yael’s family is hoping to get a lift for their vehicle. This much-needed addition would allow them to safely and comfortably assist Yael in and out of the car for his many doctor appointments.
