Meet Abcde!
Abcde is a sweet and loving 13-year-old girl who brings joy to those around her with her sensitive and emotional nature. She has been diagnosed with spina bifida and club feet, and while she uses AFOs and hand-held support to walk, she continues to explore the world with determination and curiosity. Despite being shy—especially when speaking—Abcde expresses herself beautifully through her favorite activities like coloring, cutting, and painting. She absolutely loves all things arts and crafts. Her favorite subject at school is art, and her creativity shines in every project she works on.
When she’s not crafting or working on art, Abcde enjoys spending time at the park riding her therapy bike—her favorite place to visit. She adores the color purple and lights up when she hears her favorite song, Let It Go from Frozen, her favorite movie and book series. She also enjoys watching Dog the Bounty Hunter, and her favorite food is fettuccini, which she loves to eat after a fun day of creative play and outdoor activities.
Abcde needs a shower chair, as she currently has to sit on the floor of the shower to bathe. A chair would not only greatly improve her comfort and independence, but also provide her with dignity in an everyday task. With her warm heart, love for hugs, and passion for creativity, Abcde continues to inspire those around her every day.
