Meet Parav!
Meet Parav! Parav is 4-years-old and was born with hydrocephalus. He is also legally blind and partially deaf. Parav had to have a VP shunt inserted in 2022. Additionally, Parav also has a seizure disorder that is uncontrolled. He is 100% dependent on others for all daily living activities and cannot walk or talk.
Despite Parav’s difficulties, he remains a joyful little boy. He enjoys listening to the songs from popular children’s show, Cocomelon, especially “The Wheels on the Bus” and “London Bridge.” Parav enjoys spending time outdoors and going on neighborhood walks or to his local park. Although Parav cannot communicate verbally, he is an intelligent kid who enjoys school and understands his name and simple commands.
Parav is in need of a lightweight tilt-in space wheelchair. He has outgrown his current chair, and his dad has had to carry him everywhere. He lacks trunk support, so a new chair would allow for proper alignment and safety. Please be his sponsor.
