Meet Jay’vion!
Meet eleven-year-old Jay’vion. He was born a healthy baby boy until a tragic incident caused traumatic brain damage. His life was changed forever. He has endured two brain surgeries and spent several months in a hospital. He also has epilepsy and can get Grand mal seizures when sick or overstimulated. His mobility was affected and he cannot walk without the assistance of his gait trainer and uses a wheelchair for distance.
Jay’vion’s heart, however, remains strong! His loveable and sweet disposition make it easy for others to fall in love with him. Jay is a SpongeBob fanatic and loves watching the cartoon over and over again! He enjoys listening to Kidz Bop songs and frequenting his favorite place, Chuck-E-Cheese! His other activities include going on walks, enjoying the swings at his local park, and swimming.
Jay’vion recdeived a new Rifton therapy bike. He has outgrown his current bike, and the bike provides him with a sense of independence. He feels free when he can ride with his siblings and be out and about in his community. The bike also helps increase his muscle tone. Special thanks to the Tarpon Springs Elks Lodge and the Palm Harbor Kiwanis Club for being his generous sponsor!
