Meet Indigo!
Meet 5-year-old Indigo, or as her friends and family refer to her- Indy. Indy was born with hydrocephalus and has a VP shunt inserted in her main ventricle. She was also diagnosed with a seizure disorder and cerebral palsy before she turned two. Indy is 100% dependent on others, as she cannot walk or talk.
Despite Indy’s tribulations, she remains an adorable and sassy little girl. She loves all of the Disney Princesses, but Elsa is her favorite and she is thrilled every time she hears “Let it Go.” Indy loves the water, and swimming is her favorite activity. She also enjoys trips to her local park where she swings on the swings or rides the merry-go-round. Indy’s determination shines through in all that she does, and she inspires all of us with her cute smile!
Indigo is in need of a medical stroller for safe positioning and travel. One that is lightweight and provides the ability to rotate to face her family is ideal. She often is in distress when she can’t see who is pushing her so a Hoggi Bingo would be the best option. Please be her sponsor.
