Meet 16-year-old Sarah, a sweet and creative young girl who was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy at birth. She has weakness in her arms and legs, which affects her balance and endurance. Despite these challenges, Sarah remains happy, active, and inspiring to all who know her.
Sarah has many interests that bring her joy. She loves the color teal and enjoys watching shows about art and drawing—two of her favorite pastimes. Music is another passion, especially Turkish music, which always brightens her day. She enjoys sushi as a special treat and loves visiting Disney World, where she delights in exploring all the parks. Though Sarah is quiet and often prefers her own world, she is known as a kind and helpful girl who inspires others through her creativity and gentle spirit.
Sarah’s family reached out to Wheelchairs 4 Kids for assistance in getting Sarah a lightweight power wheelchair. Thanks to the generosity of The Jim Moran Foundation Sarah has received this vital piece of equipment which will give her greater independence and make it easier for her family to transport her to and from school, medical appointments, and home.
