Diagnosed at age 3, August has weakness in his arms and legs, which affects his balance and endurance. Despite these challenges, he remains happy, active, and full of life.
August has many interests—he’s a huge fan of dinosaurs, loves watching The Land Before Time movies, enjoys audiobooks, and adores his dog, Lucy. Known for his loving and determined nature, August enjoys family adventures and inspires everyone around him.
Right now, August needs a wheelchair lift for his vehicle to safely transport his power wheelchair to school, medical appointments, and home. This lift will give him greater freedom, independence, and the ability to participate more fully in everyday life.
