Meet 17-year-old Deanna, who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and a seizure disorder at birth. This spirited young lady faces muscle weakness in her arms and legs, which impacts her balance and endurance. Yet, despite these challenges, Deanna remains joyful, determined, and full of life.

Deanna has a wide range of interests. She is a huge baseball fan and proudly plays on a buddy ball team. She enjoys watching The Little Mermaid, Moana, and Gabby’s Dollhouse, and she loves listening to her favorite Motown classics. In school, she shines in math and science, subjects she truly enjoys. Deanna also cherishes time with her dad, especially when they watch and cheer on their local sports teams together. Above all, she loves being outdoors, exploring the beauty of the world around her. With her bright smile and positive spirit, Deanna inspires everyone she meets.

Deanna needed an Adaptive Therapy Tricycle. A specialized piece of equipment that will not only support her physical therapy at home but also allow her to enjoy bike rides with her family and play alongside her peers—helping her build strength, independence, and lasting memories filled with joy. Thanks to the Don & Lorraine Freeburg Foundation, Deanna will feel the wind in her hair while enjoying those family bike rides.
