Meet Emma!

Meet 13-year-old Emma! Emma was diagnosed with Rhett’s syndrome when she was a toddler, after developing a kidney infection. She is unable to walk or talk, but loves to squirm around and dance. She is at risk for seizures whenever she gets sick and she also has severe scoliosis.

Emma is described as having an amazing sense of humor, finding light in an often-dark world.  She is a pleasant young lady who is always smiling and clapping with joy. Emma enjoys being in the water and going swimming. She loves being around people and one of her favorite things to do is people watch! She got much enjoyment out of going to her county fair and seeing all the farm animals. She loves music of all types and you can often find her watching Peppa Pig or The Wiggles.

Emma is in need of a new manual wheelchair. She has outgrown her current chair, and it no longer provides her with the comfort and safety she requires. Please consider being her sponsor!
