Meet 11-year-old Korbin! Korbin was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy when he was just 7 months old. Though he faces challenges with leg weakness that affects his balance and endurance, Korbin remains a happy, curious, and active young boy who doesn’t let anything slow him down.
He has a love for discovery, always eager to take things apart just to see how they work! When he’s not building with Legos, you can find him lost in the world of Harry Potter, either reading the books or watching the movies. A bright student, Korbin excels in math and reading.
In his free time, Korbin enjoys watching baseball with his family and cheering on their favorite teams: the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Cubs. He also loves spending time with his beloved dogs, Milo and Zoe, and being outdoors, especially when he’s fishing.
Korbin’s joyful spirit and determination inspire everyone around him.
Right now, Korbin needs a lightweight power wheelchair to give him the comfort, safety, and independence he deserves, while also making transportation easier for his family.
Please consider sponsoring Korbin. Your support will help him continue exploring, learning, and shining his light wherever he goes.
