Meet 6-year-old Roman, who was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy at just 1 year old. He experiences weakness in his arms and legs, which affects his balance, but despite these challenges, Roman remains happy, active, and full of quiet joy.
Roman has a wonderful mix of interests that make him who he is. He’s a fan of Chris Stapleton—his favorite song is “Parachute.” He enjoys watching Bluey and Despicable Me, and loves curling up with Mom for story time with Peppa Pig. A bright and curious kid, Roman enjoys Art and P.E., and loves watching baseball. One of his favorite outings is going to Wahoo Stadium, where driving his wheelchair over the bumpy ground makes him giggle with delight. Most of all, Roman loves riding in Dad’s truck. Though he’s quiet and often prefers to stay in his own world, Roman inspires everyone around him and truly makes our world a better place.
Roman needs an adaptive therapy tricycle to help strengthen his balance, stamina, and independence, while giving him a safe and joyful way to join his family on bike rides. This special trike will support his physical development and keep him socially connected with those he loves.
Please consider sponsoring Roman and help him ride toward a brighter, more independent future.
