Meet Matthew!
Meet 21-year-old Matthew! Matthew has limited mobility in his legs due to his cerebral palsy diagnosis. He primarily uses a wheelchair to get around, as he struggles with coordination issues. He has undergone several surgeries including one on his back, his knee caps, and his hips. Despite his challenges, Matthew is resilient and brave and tries his best to remain as mobile as possible.
Matthew is full of personality. He is outgoing and inquisitive and talks to everyone he meets! He loves Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story and Cars movies. He also enjoys the Super Mario Bros movie. When it comes to music, Matt enjoys the sounds of smooth crooners such as Michael Buble and his favorite actor, Sam Elliott. Going to the park, the beach, singing and going swimming are among his top activities–but his most favorite of all is riding his bike!
Unfortunately, Matthew has outgrown his current therapy bike and is in need of a larger bike. This bike will not only provide him with hours of recreational exercise but it will also help improve his muscle strength and mobility. Please be his sponsor!
