Meet Rome!

Meet Rome! This sweet little two-year-old suffered from a brain injury at birth leading to his cerebral palsy diagnosis. He had to spend nearly two months in the NICU. Rome is unable to walk on his own but can bear weight with assistance. He lacks coordination and balance and uses a stander and a medical stroller for distance.
Rome is feisty and full of life! He adores Sesame Street, and his favorite character is Elmo, mostly because Rome’s favorite color is red! He enjoys listening to classic children’s songs such as “The Wheels on the Bus” and being read his favorite book, “The Little Blue Truck.” Rome’s favorite activity is swimming and being outdoors. Visits to his local park to go on the swings are among some of his favorite moments. Rome is also learning to play the piano and plunking out the notes and hearing the sound of the keys makes him smile with joy!
Rome is in need of an activity chair. This chair will help him gain independence sitting up so he can engage in more activities and give him more opportunities to interact with his peers and his family. Please consider being a sponsor for Rome’s
