Meet Zoey!

Meet Zoey! This sweet 7-year-old has a diagnosis of monoplegia cerebral palsy as well as a CLTC, a genetic disorder. Although Zoey can walk short distances, she has balance and coordination issues, and fatigues easily. Her muscles are rigid and she has frequent spasms, which cause her to fall down.

Despite Zoey’s struggles, she remains a joyful little girl who always keeps a smile on her face. Zoey is a fan of the popular children’s series, Ms. Rachel, and loves to sing along to her favorite song, “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.” Zoey is an animal lover and has several pets, including cats, dogs, a bearded dragon, and even the rare axolotl, an amphibian-like aquatic animal. Zoey’s other hobbies include being outside and helping in the garden (she likes to pull weeds!), tracing and playing with her collection of plushies! Zoey shows affection to all she meets and loves to cuddle and give hugs!

Since Zoey is at risk for frequently falling and has challenges walking longer distances, she is in need of a medical stroller. This lightweight stroller will be ideal for transport and walks throughout the community so that she doesn’t tire as quickly. Please consider being Zoey’s sponsor and making her world a little brighter!
