Meet Muzamil!
Meet 13-year-old Muzamil. He was diagnosed with pontocerebellar hypoplasia type 1b. He cannot walk, talk, roll over, or move his body, he is fully dependent on his family for all daily living activities. Muzamil is a joyful boy despite his Challenges.
Muzamil has a few interests, he likes watching anything on tv and when his parents read him books that have colorful pictures. His all-time favorite thing would be being outside in nature, enjoying the fresh air. He is, most importantly, a happy kid with a charming personality. Although he cannot speak, he recognizes people and communicates with them through his eyes and facial expressions.
Muzamil needed a home modification for a roll-in shower for easier and safer bathing. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of Five Star Bath Solutions of Jacksonville- who went above and beyond for this family, donating their time, labor, and even most of the parts/materials towards this project; and The Gerner Family Foundation and W. Bradford Ingalls for sponsoring the additional materials needed for this project; Wheelchairs 4 Kids was able to assist Muzamil with a Roll-In-Shower they desperately needed!
