Meet Sophia!

Meet 8-year-old Sophia. Sophia was diagnosed as an infant with cerebral palsy. She also has a genetic disorder and a seizure disorder. Her seizures are controlled thanks to medication. Sophia is non-verbal, but uses an iPad to help communicate. She requires 100% assistance from others as she is unable to walk independently.
Sophia is described as a loving and resilient young lady. She is sweet to all she meets. She loves listening to beloved children’s songs such as “Old MacDonald,” especially when Ms. Rachel is the one singing them! Sophia loves the water and being at the beach or a swimming pool is where she is most relaxed! She enjoys schools and being around other kids. Sophia is full of hope and compassion and although she can’t verbally communicate it, she shows many signs of affection to her loved ones!
Sophia is in need of a therapy bike. This bike will help with her balance and coordination while also providing her with a daily activity she can participate in with her family and peers. She will receive the cardiovascular benefits that come with riding a bike. Please consider being her sponsor!
