Meet Jonder!

Jonder is a bright and loving 12-year-old who enjoys spending time doing the things he loves most. A big fan of science, he has a curious mind and loves building with his Lego collection, creating all kinds of fun designs. When it’s time to relax, Jonder enjoys watching Detective Pikachu, eating his favorite Wendy’s chicken nuggets, and spending time in the water—whether it’s at the beach or swimming in the pool.
At home, Jonder is surrounded by lots of furry love from his pets—his two cats, Moxy and Roxy, and his dogs, Michi and Maya. Those closest to him describe him as loving, tender, and attentive. He shares a very special bond with his mom and is always aware of the needs of the people around him, showing kindness and care in everything he does.
Jonder has been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, in 2021 he began experiencing difficulty with activities like climbing stairs, riding his bike, and getting up from the floor. Over the past few months, his condition has progressed and he has stopped walking, making him fully dependent on assistance. Jonder would greatly benefit from a therapy trike, which would help him stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and continue experiencing the joy of movement he loves so much.
