Meet Jos!
Jos is an intelligent 10-year-old who brightens his loved ones’ lives with his happiness. Jos was diagnosed with Arthrogryposis, Bilateral Hip Dislocation, and Bilateral Congenital Talipes Equinovarus (CTEV) at birth. He has overcome many challenges, including a lengthy hospital stay after having Bilateral Hip Dislocation and Bilateral CTEV corrected surgically.
Jos likes to read library books and attend school with his friends, especially in math class. His favorite movie is Cars, and he loves Lightning McQueen. When he’s not having fun at school or watching Cars, he is playing games with his family, watching YouTube, and swimming.
Jos needs a new manual wheelchair to provide adequate support for alignment and relieve pressure. Jos has significant difficulty walking, even with bilateral Ankle-Foot Orthoses.
