Meet Sarah!
Meet 18-year-old Sarah! This bright and creative young woman was born with spina bifida, which led to tethered cord syndrome. She has had four major untethering surgeries and is unable to walk without assistance. She relies on her wheelchair to get around her home and her community.
Sarah is unstoppable! Despite her challenges, she continues to beat the odds. She is currently in college, majoring in Psychology. She enjoys spending her spare time watching her favorite TV show, the beloved sitcom Friends. Sarah is also quite crafty and cross-stitches, paints, and bakes! She enjoys listening to bands such as Bastille, that are described as folk-pop. Sarah can also make you laugh with her witty personality and warm smile!
Sarah is in need of a new lightweight manual wheelchair. Her current chair is getting too heavy to transport and is too large to get into tight spaces. A new lighter chair will allow her more independence in getting around easier in his community. Please consider sponsoring her new chair!
