Meet 14-year-old Jayda. She has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, scoliosis, and seizures. Despite the many challenges she faces, Jayda is a resilient young girl with a smile that can brighten even the darkest days.
Jayda has a variety of interests that bring her joy. She loves watching cartoons—especially SpongeBob and Mickey Mouse. She also enjoys listening to music and watching others dance. Most importantly, Jayda cherishes time spent with her loved ones. She is known for her peaceful and loving nature and truly enjoys being outdoors. While Jayda is quiet and often prefers to stay in her own world, she inspires everyone around her and makes the world a better place.
Because of her Cerebral Palsy, Jayda is fully dependent on others for her care and mobility. A properly fitting manual wheelchair would provide her with the safe, comfortable support she needs to get out into the world, explore her surroundings, and continue creating special moments with the people she loves.
We are so thankful to the Community Foundation for Brevard for helping make it possible for Jayda to receive the manual wheelchair she needed. Because of their generosity, Jayda now has the mobility and support she deserves, which will make such a positive difference in her everyday life. Their kindness truly means so much to Jayda and her family, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.
