Meet 10-year-old Dahiana! Dahiana is a sweet girl that is diagnosed with Holoprosencephaly (HPE), a severe congenital brain malformation where the embryonic forebrain fails to properly divide into right and left hemispheres. This condition has caused Dahiana to develop Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy.
Dahiana’s favorite color is pink. Her favorite thing to do is watch Strawberry Shortcake, her favorite TV show. She also enjoys listening to Christian music and when possible, going outside to the park.
Dahiana has difficulty getting out of bed due to her Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and is continuing to grow. Her family is having a lot of difficulty getting her out of bed for routine tasks; therefore, she is need of a Hoyer lift. This will also improve Dahiana’s muscle mass and improve her cardiovascular health so she can get out more. Please consider sponsoring Dahiana today!
