Meet 10-year-old Theo. He was diagnosed with Angelman’s Syndrome. He is fully dependent on his family for his everyday needs. Theo has many challenges; he is an incredibly sweet and happy young man who brings a warm hug wherever he goes.

Theo has an array of interests. He likes watching Bear in the Big Blue House. He is a bright boy who loves Music class. Theo loves listening to music on his Tonie box. Most of all, he loves spending time with his family. Theo inspires everyone and makes our world a better place.

Theo needs a special stander that will help him be upright in a proper position while providing all the necessary support for his frail body. Being in a stander helps promote leg and core muscle strength as well as improve digestion. Most importantly, for Theo, he will be able to see the world from an upright position. Having this equipment would make a meaningful difference in his daily life.

Thanks to the generosity of a very special sponsor, Zervos & Calta PLLC, Theo has received his stander! His new stander will help support leg and core strength, improve positioning, and provide important health benefits. Most importantly, it will allow Theo to experience the world from an upright position, giving him a new perspective and more opportunities to engage with those around him.
