Meet Gabriel!
Meet 9-year-old Gabriel! Gabriel is a funny yet outgoing boy who is diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). DMD is a severe, progressive genetic disorder that mostly affects males and causes rapid muscle degeneration and weakness.
Gabriel’s favorite superhero is Spiderman. He prefers the Spiderman with Tom Holland and will even read Spiderman books! In the summertime he loves to swim and when it’s way too hot you can find him playing a video game. Gabriel enjoys trips to Six Flags theme park and his favorite food is steak and pizza.
Gabriel needs a power wheelchair. His diagnoses of DMD weakens his muscles quickly. As a result, he cannot use a manual wheelchair. A power wheelchair will allow him to go all the places he loves while preserving his energy. Please consider sponsoring Gabriel today!
