Meet Esteban!
Meet five-year-old Esteban! Esteban is a bright, joyful little boy who loves spending time with his dogs, especially his new puppy. Before his first birthday, he was diagnosed with Spastic Triplegic Cerebral Palsy, and last year he underwent hip surgery to help improve the mobility of his legs. Despite these challenges, Esteban continues to approach life with determination and a smile.
Esteban is a huge fan of Disney’s Cars, especially Lightning McQueen and the movie’s soundtrack. He loves reading Dr. Seuss’s One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and enjoys coloring, playing Minecraft, collecting colorful sensory toys, and visiting the park. Math is his favorite subject, pizza is his favorite food, and he proudly cheers on the San Antonio Spurs.
An adaptive tricycle has provided Esteban with an important therapeutic opportunity to promote leg movement, improve muscle strength, coordination, circulation, and trunk control. It has also given him greater independence and the opportunity to enjoy active play with family and friends.
