Meet Max!

Meet 9-year-old Max! Max is an enthusiastic kid who is always eager to participate in new things. Max has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and Chiari malformation. While Max is able to walk short distances, he relies on his medical stroller for longer distances. Despite his ataxia and balance issues, Max is motivated to move!
Max has an array of interests. He enjoys the Disney Channel cartoon, Gravity Falls, and when it comes to movies, his top choice is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (or any film featuring Willy Wonka!) He is a reading enthusiast, and his favorite series are The Hardy Boys and the Lands of Luxury novels. Max also loves to travel and his favorite place to visit is his grandmother’s house in Arizona. For fun, Max enjoys playing Roblox, chess, board games, and staying active with his family!
Max has outgrown his current therapy bike. He received a new Rifton therapy bike, which will allow him participation in recreational activities, as he is unable to use a traditional bike. The bike will also provide him with more coordination and help with reciprocal motion. Special thanks to the Wawa Foundation for being his sponsor! Max can now ride alongside his friends and family!
