Meet Ryder!
Meet five-year-old Ryder! Ryder is a caring, curious little boy with a big personality and an infectious sense of humor. Born with Spina Bifida, he faces challenges with remarkable resilience, always finding ways to bring smiles to those around him. He loves anything involving sand, water, and rocks, and his joyful spirit shines through in everything he does.
When he’s not exploring the outdoors, Ryder enjoys watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, playing in his backyard sandbox, reading books with his family, and sharing pizza nights. He loves animals of all kinds, from his two pet cats and dog to the horses he visits during equine therapy. Ryder also enjoys listening to music with his sister during car rides and has a special interest in collecting coins.
Ryder received a new mobile stander thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Gerner Family Charitable Foundation. The properly fitted stander will support his continued growth and independence by helping him maintain strength and flexibility in his lower extremities while allowing him to move, play, and interact with others more independently.
