Meet Camila “Mila”

Meet Courageous Camila! This feisty three-year-old was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was only a year old. Mom noticed she wasn’t meeting typical baby milestones and had torticollis. Mila relies on the use of a gait trainer and walker for support. While she lacks coordination and balance, she can sit up independently.

Mila has an array of fun interests. She loves to color, draw, swim, and play games such as Hide & Seek. She enjoys watching popular children’s shows such as Ms. Rachel, Bluey, Blippi, and Paw Patrol! Camilia loves music, too—especially the upbeat “APT” by Bruno Mars. She spends time with her goldendoodle Louie, or “Lulu” as she calls him, and weekly trips to Target always make her happy!

Camila needs a therapy trike. This assistive device will help improve her coordination and endurance, while also building her confidence by riding along with her peers. The reciprocal motion of the trike will help to reduce Camila’s tone, making future movements easier on her body. Please consider a sponsorship to help Mila get the bike she requires!
