Meet Lainey!
Meet two-year-old Lainey! Lainey is a bubbly, sweet little girl who loves music and spending time with the people she loves. At just one year old, Lainey was diagnosed with 8p inverted duplication-deletion syndrome, a rare chromosomal condition that can affect development, movement, communication, and other areas of daily life, and Lainey works hard every day to overcome the challenges it brings.
Lainey loves all things pink and purple, as well as ladybugs and butterflies. Her mom says they lovingly call her their “little ladybug.” She especially enjoys listening to music, with Fleetwood Mac among her favorites. Some of Lainey’s favorite activities include being read to, visiting Grandma’s house, and swinging on the playground.
Lainey and her family need a vehicle lift to safely transport her wheelchair on the back of their vehicle, as it’s too large to fit inside the car with Lainey and her family. A vehicle lift would provide a safe and reliable way for the family to transport both Lainey and her wheelchair to the places she needs to go.
