Meet Lorenzo!
Meet seven-year-old Lorenzo! Lorenzo is a fearless, determined boy who is always willing to try new things. Despite being diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome at just three years old, he has never let his diagnosis stop him from doing anything he puts his mind to.
Lorenzo enjoys listening to music, with his favorite songs coming from the Moana soundtrack and Michael Jackson. He is not a picky eater and loves a variety of homemade foods, including pasta, pizza, and nachos. In his free time, Lorenzo loves playing games on his tablet, swimming, and playing outside.
Lorenzo needs a manual wheelchair because his family currently relies on the largest stroller they could find at Walmart to help transport him, which is no longer a safe option. Due to his diagnosis, Lorenzo fatigues easily and experiences intractable seizures, making a manual wheelchair necessary to help protect him from falls and injuries related to seizures and fatigue.
