Meet Joshua!
Meet one-year-old Joshua! Joshua is a loving, determined little boy who has already made so much progress in physical therapy. Although Joshua was diagnosed in utero with Spina Bifida, he remains a sweet little boy with a big personality who continues to grow, improve, and overcome each obstacle he faces.
Joshua loves watching Blue’s Clues and Curious George, and he especially enjoys listening to their theme songs. He loves the color yellow, being read to by his parents, going on walks outside, and stacking blocks and magnetic tiles. His favorite animals are pigs, and he is a great eater who enjoys trying all kinds of foods.
Joshua needs a manual wheelchair due to muscle weakness and difficulties with postural control. A manual wheelchair will give him greater independence and allow him to move around more freely in his home and throughout his community.
