Meet Rowan!
Meet Radiant Rowan! This sweet little girl was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and a seizure disorder. Rowan is unable to walk or talk and requires full care for all daily activities. She is prone to muscle spasms, has hypotonia, hip dysplasia and has issues regulating her body heat, which can often be the cause of her seizures.
Despite Rowan’s challenges, she remains content and is always smiling. Some of her favorite things to do are watch classic Disney movies, such as Cinderella, and listen to old country music. Among her favorite songs are the timeless French hit, “La Vie en Rose” and Doris Day’s “Dream a Little Dream.” Rowan enjoys spending time with her brother and playing with crinkly books or paper. She also loves to look at bright lights, which makes sense, because she can light up any room she enters!
Rowan needs an activity chair. This specialized chair will help with feeding time and provide her with a supportive seating system. She requires an accessible tilt for safety to help prevent her from seizures. Please consider being Rowan’s sponsor so she can have the proper positioning needed in a chair.
