Meet Cornell!
Meet 5-year-old Cornell! Cornell spent over 140 days in the NICU. He truly is a miracle! Cornell was born with Spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, so he is unable to walk independently and relies on his wheelchair for mobility.
Cornell is a joyful, music-loving individual who brings joy to everyone around him, especially when spending quality time outdoors with his family at the local park. He is a big Mickey Mouse fan who loves life’s simple pleasures, whether he is laughing on the swings or happily watching the ducks and birds by the water. Music is a huge part of his world, and he can always be found jamming to the relaxing beats of his favorite, Reggae music, though he also enjoys lifting his spirts with the moving rhythms of Gospel music.
Cornell needs an adaptive tricycle to improve his muscle tone and strength. He has really enjoyed using the adaptive tricycle in his physical therapy sessions and would benefit greatly from having one at home so he can participate in bike rides with his family.
