Meet Calvin!
Meet Courageous Calvin! This 17-year-old boy has battled dystonia and cerebral palsy. He was diagnosed as an infant with dystonia, which has progressed over the years, and he has lost his ability to grasp items as well as losing his speech capabilities. He is also diagnosed with cerebral palsy and has endured several surgeries, including a spinal surgery where he had to have an electric pump inserted.
Despite Calvin’s struggles, he remains a joyful young man. His interests include Pokemon, being outdoors, and 3D printing. He also participates in clubs with his friends, learning more about AI and board games. He enjoys listening to Chinese music and boy bands. His favorite singer is Charlie Puth and “One Call Away” is his most listened to song. Calvin’s dad describes him as a fighter. Although he knows he is in pain, he is very strong and enjoys life to the fullest!
Calvin needs hygiene and toileting system. He is at high risk of falling in the bathroom and is 100% dependent on others for transfers. This system will reduce his fall risk and increase his ability for care in the shower so he is comfortable and safe! Please consider being his sponsor!
