Meet Victor!

Meet 18-year-old Victor! Victor was diagnosed with hydrocephalus before he was born. His family learned of his diagnosis when his mom was seven months pregnant.

Victor may have limited mobility and poor vision, but that doesn’t stop him from being an active and loving part of his family. He communicates through grunts and facial expressions and is always finding ways to participate and help. He can sit independently, roll over, assist with dressing, and even climb onto the couch by himself!

Victor loves spending time in the living room with his family, going for walks, and visiting the park—especially when he gets to enjoy his favorite: the swings. At home, he loves watching Power Rangers, the only TV show that really captures his attention.

Mom describes Victor as grumpy, helpful, and always smiling. He may get mad easily, but his sweet smile shows just how much joy he brings to those around him.

Victor uses a heavy wheelchair for mobility. His family needs a vehicle lift to safely transport his wheelchair, giving Victor greater opportunities to get out, enjoy family activities, and experience the community alongside his loved ones.

With the right equipment, Victor can continue to ride safely, explore more, and enjoy life with his family.
