He is known for his work at MEC Aerial Work Platforms, where they get people high, safely; no more ladders. MEC boom, scissor, or mast lifts will help you reach those high or remote work areas. Whether its 6-feet or 135-feet, they have a better way to get high!
David Baxter has been in the high-reach industry for 30 years. Whether construction equipment, stair lifts, or wheelchair lifts – his companies have been focused on innovation, new products, and manufacturing. David started his career in Fresno, CA with UpRight from 1994-2000, before moving to Maryland to work for JLG from 2000-2011.
Wheelchair lift manufacturer, Harmar Mobility in Sarasota, FL, was his next stop for 11 years, where he was VP of Marketing & Product Management. He recently joined MEC Aerial Work Platforms in the same role, in a return to his old industry. David lives in Sarasota, FL with his wift, Jeana. They have 4 sons and two grandsons.
