Meet Erik!

Meet six-year-old Erik. He was diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy known as Dravet Syndrome. He can only walk in small distances but not long enough to stroll around town. Eric has other limitations, but nothing keeps him from being a happy boy.

Erik has a few interests that are important for a fun day. He likes watching YouTube music videos from the great group La Granja de Zenon. He listens to other performers, but his favorite song is the adorable “La Vaca Lola.” He enjoys any sports involving balls. Erik loves playing with his collection of balls—his favorite is a basketball. Most of all, Erik is an awesome boy. He is brave and strong. He surprises everybody with his resiliency and ability to fight the odds. He is very loving and always gives people hugs and kisses. Meet Erik. This six-year-old boy has been tested positive with inspiration and joy!

Erik needed a stroller to give him the opportunity to travel and have positive experiences outside of home. Thanks to the help with a grant through Alamo and Kiwanis we were able to help him get the stroller that he needed!
